The team
You will work closely together with a team of inspiring and engaged colleagues. We strive to be a diversified team in gender, age, ethnicity, experience level, etc. We work in an agile work environment inspired by SAFe, Scaled Agile Framework.
Our main task is to find the right level of safety, security and reliability for the product, which will be Scania’s first commercially available autonomous product, in each phase of the development. Together with the developing teams and other stakeholders we define these processes and methods iteratively to deliver on our main task.
We also compile the output from these processes, that can then be used by decision makers to make informed decisions on how to proceed with the product.
Your role
You will contribute to the product delivery of the autonomous driving system. The product delivery includes the correct quality, safety, security and legal compliance. You will be responsible for setting the methods, processes and tools to ensure that all the product deliveries are met. These methods, processes and tools are set together with the developers under you leadership.
Typical tasks can be:
Creating release artefacts for new software.
Compile documentation to provide evidence for the safety of the product
Update parts of the development process to meet new requirements



As a member of an agile team, you will collaborate with the other persons working with the product definition. But you may also support other team members working with field quality or production issues.
Your profile
Most importantly, you are passionate about automation and are excited about the future of autonomous vehicles. You are a team player with the ability to grasp the bigger picture. You work well with cross functional tasks and can utilize the technical expertise in the organization for the delivery.
You have preferably a Master degree in Science or above, within a relevant field, and good knowledge of English in both speech and writing. You have experience working with product definition and delivery of systems. You have experience working cross functionally with others and can plan work both long term and short term. You enjoy working in a team.

The role

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience as a Full stack developer who is well versed in integration, transformation and storage.
Hands on experience in Amazon S3, EC2, AWS Lambda, Step functions, DynamoDB, Amazon RDS( MS-), SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, IAM, API Gateway, ECS, ECR.
Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline, test driven development.
Expertise in .Net Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, RESTful API, Swagger.
Good knowledge on Microservice based architecture.
MS Server, MS Entity Framework core.
Hand on experience in Front end web technologies - Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
Fluent in English

What to Expect
As a Sr. C++ Software Engineer within the Motion Planning & Control team, you will have the opportunity to apply your technical skills to a variety of system components & modules aiming higher performance of the team’s outcome and thereby of the Autonomous Transport Solutions as a whole. Your code will typically be connected with a variety of other components, therefore it has to be robust and easy to debug and maintain. You will always strive towards applying modern best software practices. You will be developing system tools to tackle current problems and exploring solutions for future functions. You will be contributing with systemizing planning and control features on a product level, and you will test and validate the code to ensure the system- and functional stability of our stack. You will additionally have the opportunity to test the outcome in real vehicles on Scania’s test track for autonomous vehicles.

We also use simulation models for testing, analysis and further development. C++ is the main coding language used in autonomous software development, but we also have both in house and external supplementary tools written in Python or Matlab.

What You will Do
· Write, debug and maintain robust C++ software to various components such as path or trajectory planning, motion control, etc.
· Advocate for best coding practices amongst the group, build tools helping engineers to write better code
· Optimize hardware resources usage
· Systemizing planning and control features on a product level
· Troubleshooting, failure modes analysis, customer report diagnosis
· Testing in vehicles on Scania’s test track for autonomous vehicles

What You will Bring
· Experience programming C/C++ software, including modern C/C++ (C++14/17/20)
· Experience developing planning methods such as search, sampling, path finding, trajectory optimization, motion control on real autonomous agents (robots or vehicles)
· Experience or familiarity with Robotics, Machine Learning & related software concepts?a plus
· Proficient developing software on a Linux host, for embedded Linux targets (cross-compilation, etc.)?a plus

We are looking for a developer working with Matlab MBD (Model based development) toolchain including Simulink modelling and testing. Customer is migrating to a new Matlab version and also implementing the Misra C 2012 standard and need help making sure the toolchain will meet the standard. Including in assignment a lot of critical warnings that need to be resolved and later on MBD toolchain need to be migrated to Gitlab from Perforce. Any improvements found during migration can also be implemented to improve quality.

The team is working in collaboration with another team in the customers line organization.

We are looking for an Embedded Developer for one of our renowned customer in automotive, we are looking for embedded software engineers who can work on site in Södertälje and have a professional knowledge of c++ programming.

The project is NOT in real time systems but requires an understanding of automotive software. IF you have worked with c++ development for automotive or have developed Service oriented middleware, Data Distribution Services, Communication stack or Security middleware in c++ this might be the assignment for you.
An understanding of Adaptive AUTOSAR is a plus to have. The software stack is built on QNX OS and there is a good possibility that sometimes you have to work with service to/from linux. There will be no application development but mostly middleware developement between OS and APP layer.

Any knowledge of system desk, EB tresos Studio, Davinci developer, OSEK-VDX, CANoe, dSPACE ControlDesk, AutoSAR Adaptive platform is a plus but not a must have.

Experties in c++ is a most have.

We are looking for an Integration and Release coordinator for our automotive customer.

ASSIGNMENT

You will be working with coordinate and follow up on the calibration deliveries and handle deviations in the deliveries together with the project management and developers. You will also keep track of software files and deliver them to testing/production, sustain the calibration library and database.
