The Section
The section Powertrain Control Strategy and Drivability (ENEO) develops functions and software to create world-class powertrain characteristics. We achieve this by ensuring the lowest possible energy consumption combined with the best possible performance and driveability for our vehicles.
What we do
As we move through the paradigm shift of electrification, autonomous and connected vehicles, it creates the need to accelerate our capabilities within state-of-the-art powertrain integration with autonomous systems and offboard applications. To do this we have created the value stream “Efficient Transport Functions” (ETF). Our mission is to help our customers reach their destination in the most efficient way possible, simply put you and the team will help customers maximize the value of the energy stored in the vehicle.
Your task
You will manage the group ENEOA, Driving assistance software, and act as a coach for 2 highly competent agile teams within ETF with a focus on energy consumption estimations, range prediction for BEV vehicles, and execution of the route optimization. Our solutions require good vehicle and electrical powertrain knowledge but are also based on off-board capabilities such as map data or even weather information and its impact on energy consumption.
This and also the fact that we are in the transition of forming global VCT means you will build a large network within Scania and Traton. You will work within a new and innovative technical area that will broaden the value for our customers and accelerate the usage of heavy-duty electric vehicles.
Success factors and qualifications for the role
To succeed in this role you need to be a passionate and inspirational leader, comfortable to lead in change, and driven to lead the development of new innovative customer software functions and services, with great impact on the final product with many cross-brand stakeholders.
We believe that you are an experienced leader/manager with a master of science or equivalent, seeking a new challenge within a highly strategic area for Scania and TRATON.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English (spoken and written) is a requirement.
If you have previously worked with embedded systems and driveability, it is meritorious.

Gruppen
Som gruppchef på central coordination X kommer du primärt ha två spännande uppdrag. Det ena är att tillsammans med gruppen fortsätta utveckla mjukvaru-funktioner i vår centrala huvudnod för lastbilar och bussar. Det andra är att, tillsammans med gruppens arkitekter och intressenter inom embedded, peka ut riktningen för vår framtida centrala styrenhet som skall bli gemensam för hela Traton. Vi har precis levererat en ny generation till våra kunder, och det är därför hög tid att igen blicka framåt.
Förutom att vara vår egen kund och själva använda vår kraftfulla enhet, har vi även uppdraget att möjliggöra snabb och frikopplad funktionsutveckling för alla övriga intressenter som vill använda den. Denna egenskap blir ett måste i en global Traton-miljö, där intressenterna för att utveckla mjukvara i vår enhet kommer mångdubblas.
Gruppen består idag av mycket kompetenta medarbetare, som tillsammans med dig skall hantera dagens och framtidens utmaningar, med målbilden ökad kundnytta, kvalitet och snabbhet.
Central Coordination X är en av sex grupper inom sektionen ”Embedded SW & Functions, Main Systems”, där vi till största del jobbar med egenutvecklad applikationsmjukvara till något av våra ECU-system inom sektionen. Grupperna inom sektionen har ett mycket tätt samarbete, och här har du som gruppchef och medlem i ledningsgruppen en nyckelroll i att bidra till att smörja samarbetet.
Dina arbetsuppgifter
Du har det övergripande ansvaret för gruppens leveranser, liksom coachning av gruppens medarbetare.
Du har många gränssnitt både inom embedded, övriga R&D, inköp och marknad, med goda möjligheter att skapa dig ett bredare kontaktnät.
Som en del i ledningsgruppen har du en viktig roll i att tillsammans med övriga kollegor driva och staka ut sektionens framtid. Du anser att nyckeln till framgång ligger i engagemang och arbetsglädje hos dina medarbetare. This is a new team with the assignment to take the learnings from our latest big platform change and continue, and improve, this way of working and at the same time with the ambition to be part of the automation journey for an improved developer experience. You therefore need to start with recruitment of the team members and defining the role and mission of the team. The section EYMS, is responsible for strategy, methods, and tools for a TRATON-wide product description, PDM. In close cooperation with the Scania-IT section IRC, we are responsible for ensuring that the OAS system can be used in the best possible way. We collaborate with all parts of the company and are at the forefront of the transformation of Scania & TRATON.
The assignment involves driving business needs regarding product description into solutions. The team transforms needs into requirements, following the case to solutions in OAS and delivering to customers.
As we are growing, we are forming a new group and are looking for a manager for this cross-functional area of responsibility.
Your tasks
Your main task will be to lead and support knowledgeable and committed employees in their cross-functional work to realize the team's and PDM VCT mission and goals. You are part of PDM VCT management team, together with all managers within EYMS (at R&D) and IRC (at IT). You will also coach a delivery team, containing of both EYMS- and IRC-individuals.
Further, you are expected to actively contribute to the development of the section and the VCT through work in its management team.
Your profile
· You need experience from management teams, project management of large projects, or other leadership experience. Documented development skills are needed, preferably from Scania, MAN, or Navistar.
· You have a good ability to lead and develop operations and staff. Experience from working in an agile environment with lean principles, in a team-based format, is desirable.
· You have a positive and responsible attitude, are communicative in words and writing, and have good collaborative skills.
· We value drive and commitment combined with unpretentiousness and helpfulness.
· Good knowledge of English written and oral is a requirement. Knowledge of Swedish and German is meritorious.

Beredaren har som uppgift att upprätthålla en effektiv och ekonomisk underhållsplan vilken omfattar alla maskiner samt annan teknisk utrustning.
I rollen det att se till att rätt reservdelar alltid finns tillgängliga, att beredning och preparering alltid är gjord för de underhållsarbeten som skall genomföras.
Beredaren samverkar i sitt dagliga arbete främst med underhållstekniker, planerare samt ingenjör.
Ett axplock vad gäller en Beredares arbetsuppgifter och ansvar:

- Ansvarig för att rätt reservdelar finns hemma i god tid innan planerade arbeten startas samt att reservdelarna är korrekta utifrån maskin/utrustningens klassning
- Ansvarig för att uppdater och revidera underhållsplan och annan relevant data
- Ansvarig för att dokumentation och instruktioner alltid är korrekt vad gäller utgåva och tillgänglig
- Ansvarig för att tidsättningen gällande UFO/FU/PSM mm är korrekt i underhållssystemet Maximo
- Beredaren är även avdelningens kemikalieansvarige.


Din profil

Vi söker samarbetsorienterad, självgående och ansvarsfull medarbetare med ett intresse för teknik, förbättringsarbete och problemlösning.
Vi ser också att du har:  
* en teknisk utbildning på gymnasienivå
* hög teknisk kompetens inom Scanias produktionsutrustning
* goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i både tal och skift
* B-körkort 

Du har god datorvana och erfarenhet av elektronik och automation samt kunskaper om mekanik, hydralik, etc. Stor vikt läggs vid grundläggande tekniskt kompetens och drivkraft. Vi ser det som positivt om du har erfarenhet av CNC-styrda bearbetningsmaskiner och underhållssystemet Maximo.

Our group within R&D Area E/E, Software & Autonomous, and the Onboard Platform domain, is responsible for the low voltage (LV) power supply of our electrical architecture and provides domain expertise within LV Energy Storage, Power Electronics, and Power Distribution. We have embarked on the agile way of working and the group is currently organized into three global teams; Power Supply System & Architecture, Embedded Systems & Functions, and Power Distribution Components.
About the role:
For our team Embedded Systems & Functions, we are now looking for a Scrum Master (SM) who together with the Product Owner (PO) will be leading the team ensuring that our solutions are delivered at the right time, have the right functions, performance?and?robustness to support?Scania’s?customers. Your focus as an SM is on facilitating team events and meetings, coaching the team in agile methods, and continuously handling the team's capacity, ability, and planning. You will also manage risks and obstacles to secure the output from the team. The aim is to build a cross-functional autonomous team that can handle most of your work by yourself, and you as the SM will have a vital role in securing that. The role and process are not 100% set, so you will also have the possibility to contribute to the new way of working.
Whom we believe you are:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics engineering, or a related field.

The role

Your profile
We think you’re a procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing who thrive in an environment where flexibility and self-leadership is important. Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills, along with in-depth knowledge of purchasing processes are keys to succeed and being communicative and enjoying building relationships with global suppliers and colleagues is equally important. A relevant university education in economics or a background in engineering or equivalent will be helpful for the technical aspects of the role.

The person we look for is eager to learn about this exciting new technology and to help us understand how to optimize the vehicle and fuel cell system together for best performance and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

One of our tasks is to develop functionality around the fuel cell that includes fuel cell control, the energy strategy on vehicle level, cooling system control and integration of break resistors. In addition to designing functionality, the work also includes tasks like vehicle operation support and optimisation of functionality in vehicle tests. You happily share your gained knowledge gain within the team, and you support the different projects we are involved in.
In the fuel cell area we strive after a close collaboration with other experts within the Traton group. So even if your closest colleagues in the office will work with different focus areas around the fuel cell, you will be part of an expert network in Sweden, Germany and the USA with regular meetings and exchange.
