Our group within R&D Area E/E, Software & Autonomous, and the Onboard Platform domain, is responsible for the low voltage (LV) power supply of our electrical architecture and provides domain expertise within LV Energy Storage, Power Electronics, and Power Distribution. We have embarked on the agile way of working and the group is currently organized into three global teams; Power Supply System & Architecture, Embedded Systems & Functions, and Power Distribution Components.
About the role:
For our team Embedded Systems & Functions, we are now looking for a Scrum Master (SM) who together with the Product Owner (PO) will be leading the team ensuring that our solutions are delivered at the right time, have the right functions, performance?and?robustness to support?Scania’s?customers. Your focus as an SM is on facilitating team events and meetings, coaching the team in agile methods, and continuously handling the team's capacity, ability, and planning. You will also manage risks and obstacles to secure the output from the team. The aim is to build a cross-functional autonomous team that can handle most of your work by yourself, and you as the SM will have a vital role in securing that. The role and process are not 100% set, so you will also have the possibility to contribute to the new way of working.
Whom we believe you are:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics engineering, or a related field.
• You have an interest in leading teams. You take joy in seeing your team succeed and have an interest in group dynamics. Previous experience as a Scrum Master or similar leadership is a strong merit.
• To succeed in this position, you are required to be driven and structured.
• You are a team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the team. You are an open-minded person with strong communication skills.
• It is important that you in the role can contribute to communicate results in verbal and written form to the VCT-triad, team and the group manager.
• You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbal and in writing.
• Experience in the tool JIRA is a merit.

Your day to day work

As a product owner you will provide the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities to different stakeholders. This means working cross-functionally within Scania together with other product owners, business managers and other departments ensuring we build and o?er our customers a competitive service.
Some of the key responsibilities include -
Being the Product owner for the Cloud Datalake squad and decomision the on-premise systems for the On-premise squad.
Coordinate cloud migration tasks within OnPrem DataLake phaseout. Facilitate and own daily standups. Contact sources and consumers etc.
Identify activities that fall into the ownership of the Cloud Lake Squad
Identify blockers and create then as incidents. Prioritize those on need basis with cloud squad
Communications with Service Delivery Managers and Sister Group Mgrs – on sprint planning/achievements/priorities
Backlog maintenance and prioritization for cloud lake
Alignment on work for onprem squad. Take control of things coming in, estimating its business value and prioritizing for the squad.
Aligning and prioritizng activities for the dedicated support squad.
Provide necessary communications across Scania organizational domains.

The team
You will work closely together with a team of inspiring and engaged colleagues. We strive to be a diversified team in gender, age, ethnicity, experience level, etc. We work in an agile environment inspired by SAFe, Scaled Agile Framework.
Our main development task is to bring the best sensing solution to the market for autonomous driving in confined areas. The sensing solution delivers quality-assured data to the self-driving system. We are working with different sensor and antenna techniques such as radar, lidar, camera, GNSS, IMU as well as V2X. All our development is done in close cooperation with the teams for the computational platform, sensor fusion, and localization.

Your assignment
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that the team can effectively build high-quality solutions. This is done by supporting and coaching the team in processes, quality assurance, and agile practices. An important purpose of the role is also to work with continuous improvements and make sure that the team delivers on time. In your role, you will:


• Keep the team organized, on track, and focused on what matters together with Product Owner
• Coordinate communication cross-team and VCT.
• Clear obstacles and keep the team focused on agreed deliveries.
• Lead the team to work to enhance the processes to achieve our goals.
• Coach in building a high-performing team

As a member of an agile team, you will also act as a software developer, depending on the current needs within the team.

Who you are
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field. A strong understanding of the electrical systems of heavy vehicles is highly advantageous.
• You have worked with C++. Experience in embedded development is a strong merit. Experience in the automotive business and technologies like CAN is also a strong merit.
• You have an interest in leading teams. You take joy in seeing your team succeed and have an interest in group dynamics. Previous experience as a Scrum Master or similar leadership is a strong merit.
• You are a team player with the ambition to develop both yourself and the team. You are an open-minded person with strong communication skills.
• You take responsibility for what you do and communicating in English is easy for you.

The most important goal as a product manager is to deliver value to customers and the business. This overarching objective encompasses several key aspects:

Your assignment

You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or materials engineering or equivalent work experience.
You have worked at least 2 years as a development engineer within product development, preferably within the heavy truck industry.
It is meriting if you have worked as a scrum master or project manager in an R&D context before.
You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.
It is also highly meriting if you have experience from working at Scania.

Beredaren har som uppgift att upprätthålla en effektiv och ekonomisk underhållsplan vilken omfattar alla maskiner samt annan teknisk utrustning.
I rollen det att se till att rätt reservdelar alltid finns tillgängliga, att beredning och preparering alltid är gjord för de underhållsarbeten som skall genomföras.
Beredaren samverkar i sitt dagliga arbete främst med underhållstekniker, planerare samt ingenjör.
Ett axplock vad gäller en Beredares arbetsuppgifter och ansvar:

- Ansvarig för att rätt reservdelar finns hemma i god tid innan planerade arbeten startas samt att reservdelarna är korrekta utifrån maskin/utrustningens klassning
- Ansvarig för att uppdater och revidera underhållsplan och annan relevant data
- Ansvarig för att dokumentation och instruktioner alltid är korrekt vad gäller utgåva och tillgänglig
- Ansvarig för att tidsättningen gällande UFO/FU/PSM mm är korrekt i underhållssystemet Maximo
- Beredaren är även avdelningens kemikalieansvarige.


Din profil

Vi söker samarbetsorienterad, självgående och ansvarsfull medarbetare med ett intresse för teknik, förbättringsarbete och problemlösning.
Vi ser också att du har:  
* en teknisk utbildning på gymnasienivå
* hög teknisk kompetens inom Scanias produktionsutrustning
* goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska i både tal och skift
* B-körkort 

Du har god datorvana och erfarenhet av elektronik och automation samt kunskaper om mekanik, hydralik, etc. Stor vikt läggs vid grundläggande tekniskt kompetens och drivkraft. Vi ser det som positivt om du har erfarenhet av CNC-styrda bearbetningsmaskiner och underhållssystemet Maximo.

Procurement at Scania
We’re responsible for the global procurement of parts and components – both for new development and those running in production, as well as spare parts and non-automotive products and services. In Sweden we’re close to 600 people from a range of backgrounds who draw on our different competencies and perspectives to achieve our common goal – building innovative and resilient supply chain solutions.

The role
As a strategic purchaser at Scania, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that promote the correct balance between our procurement value drivers – technology, quality, delivery, cost and sustainability. Your work will include both strategic and practical aspects, from negotiation meetings and driving improvements in your segment to defining the global strategy in alignment with your global counterparts. You’ll play a central role in building and maintaining long-term relationships with our suppliers and optimizing the procurement process – all together with colleagues who value collaboration and great team spirit.

While it always varies, these are some things you could be doing in a typical day:


Supplier meeting via Teams to discuss commercial topics
Follow up meeting with R&D and project purchaser to align on upcoming sourcing for a new product
Desk work to finalise a long-term agreement with a supplier
3-ring meeting to align with project purchaser, SQA and Traton colleagues within your segment
Desk work with focus on finding saving potentials
Guiding junior colleagues in both systems and daily work.


Your profile
We think you’re a procurement professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing who thrive in an environment where flexibility and self-leadership is important. Exceptional negotiation and analytical skills, along with in-depth knowledge of purchasing processes are keys to succeed and being communicative and enjoying building relationships with global suppliers and colleagues is equally important. A relevant university education in economics or a background in engineering or equivalent will be helpful for the technical aspects of the role.

In addition to our BEV strategy, Traton has now decided to also explore fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV).

Your Profile

The person we look for is eager to learn about this exciting new technology and to help us understand how to optimize the vehicle and fuel cell system together for best performance and efficiency.
Since we are a small team, we believe that you thrive in an environment where you can take great responsibility and cover a broad field of subjects.

Your Responsibilities

One of our tasks is to develop functionality around the fuel cell that includes fuel cell control, the energy strategy on vehicle level, cooling system control and integration of break resistors. In addition to designing functionality, the work also includes tasks like vehicle operation support and optimisation of functionality in vehicle tests. You happily share your gained knowledge gain within the team, and you support the different projects we are involved in.
In the fuel cell area we strive after a close collaboration with other experts within the Traton group. So even if your closest colleagues in the office will work with different focus areas around the fuel cell, you will be part of an expert network in Sweden, Germany and the USA with regular meetings and exchange.
